The short version: Dozely keeps everything on your device. There is no account, no server, and no upload. Your audio recordings and sleep data never reach us — or anyone else.
While you run a night, Dozely uses your phone's microphone to measure sound levels and capture short audio clips when it detects snoring or sleep-talk, and your phone's motion sensors to estimate movement. From these it computes a sleep score, a timeline, and trends.
All of it — audio clips, nightly summaries, settings, and trends — is stored locally on your device. Dozely has no backend and creates no account. We have no way to access your recordings or your data.
Nothing personal. Dozely does not require sign-up, does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not transmit your recordings or sleep data off the device.
If you subscribe to Dozely PRO, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store. Dozely receives only your subscription status from Apple — never your payment details.
You can delete nights and clips inside the app, and removing the app deletes everything it stored. Because nothing is on a server, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Dozely is a personal wellness tool. It does not diagnose sleep apnea or any medical condition. If you have concerns about your sleep or breathing, please consult a healthcare professional.
